Ashford & Simpson are better known as the incredible songwriting/producer team, behind so many hits for the likes of Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan…the list goes on. And as artistes themselves, they have recorded and released many fine albums together, with their first album "Gimme Something Real" being released in the early 1970's on Warner Bros.
