Caro Emerald is the new kid on the block, but boy does she sound like she's been around! A voice so seductive and sultry it's hard to believe she just recorded her debut album, a mix of 1950's inspired ballroom jazz, cinematic tangoes, groovin' jazz tracks, infectious mambo's and banging beats. 
In the summer of 2009, Caro Emerald scored a big hit in The Netherlands with her debut single "Back It Up". The catchy song just wouldn’t leave national radio. The huge success of follow up "A Night Like This" already proved Caro had more to offer than just one summer hit, and on January 29, 2010 Grandmono Records finally released her debuut album "Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor".

Inspired by music and films from the ‘40’s and ‘50s, Caro and her producers have created a unique sound that fits her seductive voice perfectly. 50's ballroom jazz, cinematic tangoes and catchy mambo's, it sounds like you’re listening to exotic 7” singles and Hollywood soundtracks, combined with catchy pop songs, hiphop and dance beats.
