Embracing the initial comparisons to Dave Grohl's former band Nirvana, Grohl was influenced by Kurt Cobains songwriting, but crafted his own sound, channeling his past as drummer into signature rhythmic  guitar riffs. 
Mixing melodic and heavy elements Foo Fighters have a huge fanbase worldwide and strings of hits songs, many of which are featured on this recording, for example: “Learn to Fly”, “This Is A Call”, “Breakout” and “Everlong”
