Lime was the brainchild of Catherine Synnerdahl ( who later shortened her name to Cate Dahl ). Cath & Dave Reynolds had been honing their talents for years first as the rhythm section in Wrecking Crew & then in Mother Hubbard. At the end of Mother Hubbard and a brief break they decided to create their own band taking on the songwriting duties and in so doing switching to guitars and vocals. Eventually finding the right rhythm section in Dave Peck (Othermind, Bob Sledge) & Andreas Lanz (Damnation, Christ Art Museum) Lime was born in 1997. They played extensively throughout Sydney between 97-99 and often shared bill's with 'Othermind' & 'Guilding the Lily'.
