Prince - Rock In Rio 1991.

Prince had never set foot on stage in South America until this night. 
He kept the 60.000 screaming fans waiting, starting the show over 2 hours late. 
Once he started, Prince was unstoppable, and the band kept jamming while the police threatened to stop the show. 
He brought The New Power Generation to Brazil, which resulted in a hard, funky sound filled with jam sessions, they didn’t just stick to the hits.

Limited coloured vinyl gatefold edition featuring show facts and custom design with Prince’s guitar shaped into the Rock in Rio logo of the map of Brazil.

This, iconic of the era, guitar: the Auerswald Model C. was gifted to Prince by ‘punk princess’ Gloria von Thurn und Taxis in 1986.

Rock in Rio 2 was attended by 700.000 people and broadcast live to 55 countries. 
Prince headlined two of the seven nights, the 2nd being his last ever appearance in South America.
