NIET MEER LEVERBAAR !
CASTON & MAJORS is one of the most sought after Motown releases of
all time and BBR is proud to announce the first ever CD release of the
classic album with an entirely unreleased follow-up album included as
bonus tracks!

The son of the legendary bluesman Leonard “Baby Doo” Caston,
Leonard Caston Jr. started learning music and how to play guitar from
his father and later made his way onto piano. By the tender young age
of eight Caston was playing keys at his local church. It was there he
was approached by Maurice McAllister to join a group that would later
catch the attention of A&R director Billy Davis of the legendary Chess
Records. They recorded a few R&B hits as The Radiants before
Leonard Chess sadly died of a heart attack in 1969.

Caston then joined Motown and began working alongside Kathy
Wakefield and Frank Wilson, co-writing songs for The Supremes and
Eddie Kendricks. Later some of his songs were also recorded by The
Four Tops and The Jackson 5. Caston also earned himself a 1975
Grammy Nomination, around the time he met his future wife, Carolyn
Majors.

After relocating to L.A. the duo signed a recording deal to Motown.
CASTON & MAJORS features the hugely successful track I’ll Keep My
Light In My Window. Co-written by Caston with Terri McFadden, the
song would go to be recorded by the likes of Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye,
and The Temptations and would win A Grammy when recorded by the
Mighty Clouds of Joy. Other notable tracks include the incredibly
uplifting LET THERE BE LOVE and EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT NOW which
features a more recognizable Motown sound.

BBR is extremely proud to present CASTON & MAJORS digitally
remastered and lovingly repackaged for the first time on CD anywhere
in the world!

Complete with liner notes featuring interviews with Leonard Caston
and Carolyn Majors with added bonus content, this Motown gem is a
